WbPlus X8 page deletion oddity

I have a redundant page on my website. It has no information on it any more, just a title. There are no links to it from anywhere and it has no external links. It is not uploaded and is not includd in any menu.
If I delete it from the Site structure, it also first deletes a whole chunk of text from the Home page, and then wipes out all the contents of that page. I have no idea why - I can delete other pages without any problems.
