As a side note, the evil organism type assailing humanity in the latest HBO series "the Last Of Us" is a fungus. And it's badass.

We in Texas have a similar problem. We're being inundated with Californians.

Hi Paul, The Cruise industry appears to be doing well judging by the numbers calling here recently.

As for fungi which are alien to our harbours we don't want them, neither does Australia. Introduced species, albeit fungus, can cause havoc with native species. It's bad enough that the warming seas are bringing down from tropical areas species of marine life which normally don't live here.

What's next? Fungus?

Fungi can be very helpful when making up powerful medicines or harmful when invading your body. Ancient peoples discovered the healing power of mushrooms but may not have realized that fungi are not always your friend. Most people don't realize that Fungi are not animal or plant but their own Kingdom. They are literally everywhere and may have been the key element in bringing living organisms out of the oceans and onto dry land.

As if the Cruise industry hasn't had enough trouble lately.
