Greetings, everyone, from a long-time user of Serif now-legacy software.

I've been happily using PhPX4 (and DPX8) on Win10 with no issues.

We have one Win 11 laptop though, and I've tried both PhPX4 and DPX8 on that machine. While they install and run OK, the UI fonts and toolbars are microscopic to the point where they are unusable. I think we tried compatibility mode but it didn't make any difference. I'd given up, but now I'm having to swap out another Win10 machine for a new Win11 box, so I'd like to be able to resolve this UI issue. Maybe I need to try again.

I don't think I have anything more recent than PhPX4, although I'll have a look through the old DVD cases. DPX8 though is relatively recent, and as I say, it suffered the same problem.

I see from above that PhPX5 and PhPX8 work, or can be made to work. What experience do any of you have with PhPX4 or DPX8 (yes, I know this isn't the DP forum ;-)).

I’ve never used Win 11, so I’ll leave it to one of our fellow forum members to answer that. You may need to invoke Win 7 compatibility mode as @Dunny suggested.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re installing from a disc or a download, so if you have your old product key it should still work.

If you need another product key, please send an email to admin[at]punster[dot]me and I’ll be happy to help.

I have had a faulty hard drive which needed to be replaced and as part of this have migrated to W11. This has meant needing to reinstall all my Serif softwares. I have a PHPX8 disk, but I don't have a product code for it. The version I was previously using was downloaded as part of a bundle from serif, and for this I do have a product code, but the two are not compatible. I do have a full backup on external drive of all my C\ drive files which includes all the Serif applications.
I do also have PhPX8 installed on a laptop but I am not sure whether it is the disk or download version.
Any advice welcome.
