Hi Geoff - I started using method 2 recently. Problem was there were hundreds of objects - that's why I asked the question. I think the short answer to my question is no. PagePlus is still a great piece of software.

Is there any way of putting all the items into separate layers

Hi Mick, welcome to the forum.

I can think of two ways.

1. Create your new layers on the Layers tab and drag the items to be relocated onto the paste board. Then change to the new layer you want them on, and drag the item onto the page from the paste board.

2. Create your new layers. Select an item to be relocated, and Cut (Ctrl+X). Change to the appropriate new layer and Paste in Place (Ctrl+Alt+V)

The second method keeps the objects in their correct positions.

Geoff

When I open a PDF on Pageplus x9 all the objects get put inside a single layer and it's not possible to hide or lock single objects within that single layer. Is there any way of putting all the items into separate layers so individual objects can be hidden or locked (and keeping the same object order)?
