I have a .ppb listing 4 chapters, each of which has a .ppp listed under location. The title of each chapter is in a Master A on the first page of each chapter, style Heading 1. Those titles from the master layer are the only Heading 1 anywhere in any of the .ppp files. I used the wizard to generate TOC for the whole book (so far only 4 chapters written.) When I generate the TOC I only get a blank page with the heading Contents at the top. I had assumed it was going to look in the file for each chapter in order and pull the Heading 1 chapter title for each. What I am I missing? Do I have to promote all the titles from the Master Layer to Layer 1?
