Why wasn't "I hate mobile phones" or similar, not on the list?

Perhaps I imagined it !! ? https://youtu.be/L6Uu8OEwZGw Sorry about the noise, but we are on Gatwick approach !
Looks a bit soggy Gordon - I can empathise, to an extent.
Your video reminded me of the video I took down at Grays Riverside Beach back in 2021, at least it wasn't my responsibility to clear the mess up. https://youtu.be/6jCpdjBQ1fU
Another 'historical' video for you taken at one of my favourite RHS gardens at Hyde Hall back in 2015. A fraction over 12 minutes long, and taken in the day when videoing youngsters was not seen as some kind of perversion as it appears to be today - times were more innocent then. Enough of these ramblings, please enjoy the flowers trees, shrubs and people young and old - oh and a few robins were around too. https://youtu.be/PBBKGLcEz0s

When I come to try it again, where do I load the unlock file to, before, I dragged it to the Movieplus X6 file, was that right or wrong, I've removed it at the moment.
The .mfu file needs to be imported into the program itself.
1) Run MoviePlus X6
2) From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Options'
3) From the left hand pane, select 'Advanced' and click on 'Manage Unlock Codes'
4) Click on 'Import', bottom left hand corner, and navigate to where your .mfu file is located.
5) Click on the file and then click on 'open' and hopefully that will be that.
Nice one Gordon. Enjoyed Ed the Duck having a good time in the sea, it did look cold though. What makes people want to do that, I can think of a more comfortable way of celebrating the New Year, but each to their own I guess.
I can certainly empathize with you there Eric. If only someone would invent a pill that would give me more energy. I feel as though I've been suffering from fatigue for ever, well at least the last few years
I remember a few years back another member had a similar problem and I suggested that he checked the disc he was putting into the DVD drawer. They were trying to write a DVD using a CD disc!! It could be as simple as that.
If that is not the case, there are plenty of DVD writing programs on the market, just export the video to a file and import that file to another DVD writing program. I personally use Nero 15 and despite it being over eight years old, works very well.
Have a look here for some more options. https://www.cyberlink.com/blog/media-pl … g-software

As for the ladies at Ightham and their phones I noticed it was Jill the photographer to the rescue.
I attempted to use their phone to take their picture, but for some reason the shutter did not respond to my touch. I expected the picture to take as soon as I hit the big round white button, but after thinking about it, would I be right in thinking that the picture takes only when you take your finger off the button, much like the computer mouse only responds on the "up" stroke, so to speak?
Looked like a nice long walk Gordon, I was quite worn out by the time I had finished watching it! Guess I will have to get myself in shape and not eat too much Christmas pud...
New Years day sea swim sounds like a bit of a challenge, not for the faint hearted, so that leaves me out I'm afraid. Do you and your wife take the plunge, or will you be busy filming it?
It's CHRISTMAS in case some of you had not noticed!!
Last Thursday we went to see the Glow festival at Hyde Hall in Essex, a good time was had by all https://youtu.be/SL2M123ZzCU
The following day we went into Kent to see how a Tudor Christmas was celebrated at Ightham Mote. Jill enjoyed herself in a second hand bookshop and managed to purchase a David Attenborough book for the princely sum of £1. We also helped a group of ladies who were trying to take a selfie of themselves, they had about as much knowledge of their phone as I do!!

Actually Winkworth Aboretum is in Surrey
Of course it is Eric, silly old me!!
Yes, Jill's coat was very lucky wasn't it, wouldn't have been the same had she been wearing bright red, although thinking about it, it may well have done...
A couple of days ago, the You Tube algorithm came up with this video of Scotney Castle in Kent. Having been there a few times, I thought I would give it a go, and WOW I was not disappointed. The two "boys" who made the video did a really great job, a bit rough round the edges, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have since watched about a dozen of their videos and thought they were really charming - see if you agree.

Very nicely done Eric. Both myself and Jill enjoyed it very much. Will you be going back to see the things that you missed on this trip - I do hope so.
With the Summer to look forward to down under, all we have to look forward to is the long dark days of winter, but we did have the joys of wandering through an arboretum in Kent earlier this month to see the lovely colours, always a highlight of the year - for me at least. This is Winkworth Arboretum. Six minutes long.

At the moment, the south of England is experiencing a bit of an Indian summer, I don't suppose it will last, but you never know.
You lucky thing Eric, as you look forward to summer, we have to put up with winter, but first there is the Autumn season to look forward to and all of the glorious colours.
We paid our second visit to Great Dixter in East Sussex last week.

But why was 5/- called a crown in the first place? We didn't call 1/3d a quarter crown did we...

Two and six what?
Three and eleven what?
One and nine what?
What year did you emigrate to New Zealand Eric? You do not remember pound, shillings and pence?
What about one and threepence three farthings.
I wonder who the youngest member of our community is, and how old they are?
Nicely done Eric. On hearing your dulcet tones, Jill came running out of the bathroom to watch your film - we both enjoyed watching it. I do not remember watching it before, so I assumed it was a new one?
Not as far as I know Eric. From what I saw of the paintings they were all very accomplished.
I have been a bit quiet recently haven't I. Just feeling a bit under the weather I'm afraid, with a few health problems - nuff said.
Beeleigh Abbey Gardens near Malden in Essex. https://youtu.be/PoXc6T-JwLs Visited on the recommendation of my sister-in-law. Quite a pretty little garden, here is some more info about it. https://www.visitmaldon.co.uk/beeleigh-abbey/ Hope you enjoy the video. Steve.
Last Thursday I got dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and actually purchased a smartphone!! I don't know what came over me, but there you go...
I can understand how people get hooked on these things. I have only just got it, and I can hardly put the damn thing down.
Please help me
Here's a song for all of us getting fed up by people lecturing us on what we should or should not be eating. https://youtu.be/e1sI3pXo9pQ?list=RDe1sI3pXo9pQ
That was wonderful Gordon, I really enjoyed it. Very nice use of key frames etc, and showed how useful a tripod or similar type of contraption can be. Thanks for the upload.
