Just curious but is there any way to add a like, thumbs up, or similar reaction to someone's post? .

+1  if possible, it saves dozens of posts like this one saying +1

I always thought that Serif's sub-divisions on the soon-to-close Affinity forum was odd. I would prefer to see it by product:

Affinity Designer (all platforms, but members to state which platform they are using)
Affinity Photo (all platforms, but members to state which platform they are using)
Affinity Publisher (all platforms, but members to state which platform they are using)
Affinity General & Cross-product

+1  I asked this admin by email for exactly this before I saw this thread.

Most of us spend 90% of our time in one of the three apps. In my case Publisher as I do magazines and books.

The reason Serif did it by platform is their support/.dev teams work like that. I doubt the Serif support wil be monitoring this forum (or the discord for that matter)   SO it makes more sense to me to have the divisions as above.

I assume you mean where to go for print on demand?
Affinity Templates for Blurb et al?
Paper choice
Book binding and covers?

The problem with so much these days is it never get printed. Though I am guilty of this as the Magazine I produce is on-line PDF only (but A4 so anyone can print it at home.  However we are also looking at doing some limited run hard cover books.

Hi Alfred,

Please, pretty please, can we have an A-Pub section on this forum?

I have a feeling that most of us live mainly in one of the three affinity apps.  In my case 90% of my time is laying out magazines and books in Publisher.

So a section for Publisher users would be good, otherwise we get swamped by the photo users.  in the desktop section.

Chris

As this is History and Geography as a test post (my first on this forum), I thought I would post the link to the FREE Heritage  magazine I produce using Affinity Publisher.
