Hi,
I used Webplus 6 to create a couple of personal websites a few years back. They were really left dormant but I've been trying to update them and come across a few problems I was hoping someone could help me with.
The main website I've been trying to update is devoted to my hobby of photographing military jets at low level.
It's basically a collection of photo galleries devoted to different jets and locations.
When I update a year I simply add a new page and create a photo gallery (using Visuallightbox - subject of other questions later!!) - eg 2024 - and then update the website using Filezilla adding the 2024.html page and associated files (in a folder called 2024-files).
First problem, each year has a folder (eg 2024-files) of various sub folders each with their own files, BUT when I use "Publish to Disk Folder" to copy it to the "Lowflyingaviation" folder in the "Mywebs" in "Documents" only the 2024.html file is copied across, not the associated 2024-files.
As the "Lowflyingaviation" folder is used to update the website using Filezilla, I have to copy/paste the 2024- files manually into the folder before I can update. This is not a big problem - BUT - question
When I go into - Tools -Site Manager-File Manager some of the year folders are included but not all (see photo) and more importantly the folders and files in File Manager are the ones that are published to the Lowflyingaviation folder in Mywebs which as I said is used by Filezilla
Their is an option to add a file in File Manager BUT NOT a folder so I could updaye manually but that would be very tedious.
So two questions
)1) is there an option somewhere - I have looked and looked - which tells Webplus which files to add to File Manager when you
publish?
2) If not is there anyway to add folders to File Manager rather than individual file at a time?
Sorry if I've been very long winded in my problem/question, just hope someone has the patience to read and understand!!
Thank you
Alan C
