I am working to add graphics from several PagePlus documents to MyDesigns to be able to use in any PagePlus document on my computer. I also sometimes work on a different computer which has PagePlus installed. How can I move a copy of MyDesigns to that computer? I have only recently starting dragging graphics into MyDesigns. There have been no graphics put in MyDesigns on the other computer.
If I understand correctly, the items in MyDesigns (on my computer) are linked to locations of the items ON MY COMPUTER and so the graphics have to be stored somewhere on the other computer and properly linked to MyDesigns on that computer.
I tried copying MyDesigns.ppack from my computer onto a flashdrive and used copy/paste to overwrite the MyDesigns.ppack on the other computer, but MyDesigns on the other computer remained empty. Both files are in the proper appdata...assets folder.

I found the correct solution to my question. I had been using the Search box in Asset Manager. I had overlocked the Search box at the bottom of the Assets Tab. That works! I couldn't see the forest for the trees!
I am now going to post a new, but somewhat related question. I hope anyone seeing this post will also check out the new one as well.

I found that search works in Asset Manager for objects in both My Designs and Graphics. However, in Asset Browser it works for objects in Graphics, but not for objects in My Designs. But in either Manager or Browser I have found no way to get objects from the search screen to the document. That is what is lacking a solution.

I am aware of that. But if I have 50 or more graphics in the asset tab, I have to scroll to find and select. Suppose I have ten graphics with a “welcome” tag. If a put welcome in the search field, it shows me all ten graphics in the asset manager window. I can decide which one I want for my application. I can find no way to get it from the search window. I have to close the search screen, before I can do anything else. I still have to search the asset tab until I find it. If they have a way to do it I cannot find it. It would be impossible to decide how to arrange the order of items in the asset tab. Why have tags if they do not work to help you get what you searched for?

I want to add a bunch of clip art to My Designs on the Asset tab, to be used in any document. I have added the items in My Designs, added tags for each in Asset Manager, and I can enter a tag in the Search box and see all the matches in the manager screen. I want to be able to drag or copy/paste one of the items to the current document, but I can find no way to do this. Is there any way to do this? What is the point of being able to search tags if you cannot easily use graphics?

My present “System” is to keep a bunch of graphics scattered all over the pasteboard which gives a performance hit when I do a file save, and is impossible to keep organized.

I am using PagePlus X9.

As recently as 2015 I could create a fillable PDF Form in PagePlus and use a Serif Web Resources as an email gateway service to get data from submitted PDF forms. Is there still a way to do this? I do not have and do not want to set up a web server.

Found the problem! Someone else has been working on this and for some reason those short lines on the TOC page had a left tab set at that point. I selected all lines and got rid of the tab, problem solved!

Working on a new book similar to a previous one. Just needed to swap some pages and edit others. Have regenerated the TOC. All lines were to be formatted like The 2nd line. Cannot figure out why are coming out shorter. I can clear all and regenerate and get this same result. All show to be style Contents-1st. How can I fix this? The contents are generated from Heading1 lines.

The best way I have found to put a multipage pdf into a PagePlus (X9) document is to start with a blank pasteboard, then File/Open, navigate to the pdf file and click Open after ticking the desired options. That will open all (or selected) pages of the pdf into a new PagePlus document. I now have 13 pages in the document. If I only want to add 1 or 2 pages from an existing PPP file, I can open the other file and navigate to a page I want to add to the new document. I select the items on the page (or ctrl A) to Select All, ctrl C to copy. Switch back to my new document, add a new blank page, and Edit/Paste in Place and it them appears in the new page just as it was in the other file. You can repeat this for as many pages as you wish. But if I want to add a bunch of pages, it would be nice to have a way to do them as a group. Does anyone know a way other than creating a Book rather than a document?

As this is my first post in THIS forum (rather than the Affinity/Legacy forum that is now for Affinity products only), I want to express publicly my thanks to Alfred and any others involved in providing this forum for those of us who find one or more of the Legacy Plus programs still do a fine job for us. (I still think it would have been a good idea to provide a way to migrate old files to the new products, but that topic was discussed at length and the official response was NO, we can't (or won't) to it. I still choose to stay with the Plus versions.)
