Hi all. Is it just me or has Serif software tools stopped working?
On my DrawPlus x8, Page Plus X9 and Photo Plus X8 on both of my laptops, some or all of the tools have become greyed out and are no longer active all of a sudden.
I am not sure of why this is suddenly happening.
I posted a question on the Draw Plus area but there are no answers though 30 people viewed it.
Am I missing something that I should know, or is this really an issue now?

I just opened my Draw plus x8, and noticed that a number of my tools are no longer active. Some are greyed out. This was never an issue. Granted, I have not used them is quite a wile, but this is strange. Also, it is occurring with my Page Plus x9. Is there something I can do?
Never mind.Apparently the problem fixed itself.
Hi all:
I recently published an update to a site page that resulted in a hyperlinked arrow not showing up in the right place or holding the correct hyperlink. But when I check the published update in preview, it all looks fine.
This is the update as it looks in preview and as is should look.
but online this is how it looks and the link goes to page 20 which the site does not have
Not sure why this is happening or how to correct it.
Hey Serif family, I am still wondering what the cause and fix is (if any) for clipped videos on the time line suddenly shifting out of sync with the audio. I still get this experience whenever i try to cut up pieces of a long video.
Lets say I have a 5 minute video of myself talking, but I made mistakes in my comments so I want to edit the errors out. so I find them and cut them out. But then when I play the video, suddenly the audio is out of sync with the video.
Is there a way to prevent this, or should I just use another modern video editing tool for editing my videos?

Like what Youtube and Rumble etc. has below the videos.
So that the web host can discuss the page or web content with visitors who want to talk in real time.

Is that possible with Blogger? I do not see any option to create an embed code.

Thanks Alfred: it seems that the issues was with the host company. When I last made the attempt to upload it worked with no issue.
I tried to include an attachment of the screenshot but I am getting an error here too.
"Warning: The following error must be corrected before your message can be posted"

I'm not sure what that means.
That was it Alfred. I changed the P to p and it worked.
But now I am getting another error it says:
"there was an error opening remote file blogs.html for writing. (OpenRequest failed) Check your FTP information and try again.
If the problem persists contact your Host for advice."

Yes Alfred, I am working with both hosting companies. But you are so correct. I did fail to use the lowercase p and that may actualy be the problem. I will change it and see. And will let you know if that works.Thank you so much.

Hi: I am using Web plus X8
I am trying to upload my site to godaddy and I am getting the "remote folder Public_html does not exist. (see attachments for screen shots)
The folder is in cPanel file manager. And when I click "create Directory" I get an error "there was an error opening remote file blogs.html for writing. (open request failed).
Not sure what to do.
I noticed that my Video playlist feature in Web plus x8 is no longer working.
The list dialog shows "error 404 not found" see attachments.
Is there a reason? And is there an easy alternative available to embed youtube videos and video play list in my web page?

Its been some time and I have not received any replies although over 50 people have read the post. I guest that mean it is an unknown problem. When I click the "test" it says connection successful. So I don't understand why I am getting the error "Opened Request Failed".
having a strange problem when I try to publish and update to my site.
Suddenly I get an error notice "there was an error opening remote file index.html for writing" (Open Request failed).
This have never happened before so I don't have a clue what is causing it. Any help would be

I was working in a layout that I have been using forever, and while working I accidentally hit restore default settings, and lost my layout. Now all of my screen has everything (all of the tools and options in a different place. Is there a way that I can undo this and put things back to the way they just were?
Now my Video Preview is on the bottom and my Audio video tracks are on top. And I want them reversed.
"It sounds like you are trying to access "HTML Source" on the Master page which will show it as inactive. You need to access it on a normal page not the master. then follow the instructions/video"

Last Question on this:
I just need to know if this means that I will have to do so for each page of my site to have the animation on the background of all pages?
My desire is to have one animation on the background of all of my site pages. If I can only do this by putting it on each page separately, that would slow down my site. So if that is the case, is there some kind of plug in that I can use to install the animation on my master page so that it shows on all pages? My master page size is 1024 x 3000.
I know you all are busy and probably tired of me. But I just need an answer to the below question. Or if you can refer me to someone who may be able to assist me, that would be fine. Thanks

When I try to access the HTML Source by left clicking "View" the "Page HTML Source" is also not active. I need to know why, and if there is a way to access "HTML Source" to proceed. You provided me with the code but I could not follow the instructions because HTML Source is not active it’s greyed out.

Are you saying instead of dong “view, HTML Source”, that I should copy the code and then go to "insert", "HTML Fragment" and then click in the white area of the master page for the HTML Source dialog box to open? I can to that, but there are two sections there, Header and body. In which do I past the code. in which do I paste it?

I don’t understand what this means, I know how to paste html code in master page, but I don’t understand- “and the video code fragment to <!--Master A Body Start-->” Are you saying that the Motionvid.mp4 should be placed in the body section of the HTML Source dialogue?
