I have a redundant page on my website. It has no information on it any more, just a title.There are no links to it from anywhere and it has no external links. It is not uploaded and is not includd in any menu.
If I delete it from the Site structure, it also first deletes a whole chunk of text from the Home page, and then wipes out all the contents of that page. I have no idea why - I can delete other pages without any problems.
Hi,
When uploading any changes to my website I now have to enter the password every time. All the boxes to save the password are ticked and it's set to save the password both in the site and on the machine. But every time I go online the password space is blank, every other box is filled out fine. Windows 11, but it was the same under W10. I'm sure before I changed computers it all worked OK. Any solutions?
My website has LetsEncrypt security certificates in place but the FTP won't upload. If I try FTP with another prog, it shows the certificate as "not trusted"but lets me over-ride that and OK it from the program. Is there any way to do this by adding any code to WebPlus? I've tried every setting I can think of but no dice.
I get an error line:
550 SSL/TLS required on the control channel
Any ideas?
I've used Webplus X8 for years and it seems to be reaching the end of its life. The critical thing for me is the inability to use the YouTube widget without amending the code each time, although the solutions given below have solved the immediate problem, but it makes it all a bit clunky.
So, has anyone found a programme that is as easy to use and works as well? This is probably the wrong place to ask aas we're all still using WebPlus...
