My video of Colchester zoo taken at the end of last month.

We made the BIG mistake of going at the end of the school holidays, with lots of kids making a hell of a noise - anyway enough of my whining, hope you enjoy my efforts.
I liked that Albert, well filmed and a good bit of editing with music that suits !!! Personally I would have done away with the audio of the kids shouting, but that's just me !. I haven't been to a zoo for ages, and the ones in Spain are not to my liking because of the attitude of a lot of the Spanish public towards animals (or at least the older population that love their bullfighting)!
As I reported earlier, Sue and I are off to our Spanish abode for a while and I hope to make some interesting videos. I do get roped into filming bands and groups when we are down there and some are quite good! as they are made up of old retired players and singers from "named groups" from the 60s/70s !
However we do like going on what I call "lost drives" off the beaten track (Spain is a big country) and there is a lot of empty spaces with brilliant landscapes and old villages.
On another note I have bought another camera, it's a Sony FDR AX700. The main reason I bought it is because a lot of my filming is for bands in difficult lighting situations especially at night, and the AX700 has a one inch sensor compared with my AX53. One good thing is that they both take the same battery, however the 53 has amazing stabilization hand held compared to most camcorders and has a better wide angle to max telephoto range (so time will tell) ! It certainly won't make me a "Steven Spielberg" but it might save me a lot of time when trying to make lighting corrections during editing.
This is the sort of thing I make, not everybody's cup of tea but the woman singer is very good for this type of song.
