Alfred, fortunately it did not come to using the ESDPK-PPX9-PageplusX9-en-GB.exe, as we managed to find the original DVD, and all has gone well. We only really need to use the 32bit version to edit and use the *. SDB's files in PagePlus. Thanks, for getting back. Vicki
Good afternoon.
Just had my laptop reformatted and had Win11 Pro installed.
I know from the past If I run the DVD twice to install PagplusX9 I can install both the 64 and 32 bit versions.
Will it work the same if I run the ESDPK-PPX9-PageplusX9-en-GB.exe file twice which I have on a memory stick? Or do I have to dig the DVD out?

From memory I seem to remember in a version of pageplus there were photo effects that you could apply to an image, I thought it was from the style menu in studio tabs. I do not mean photolab or cut out studio, has this feature been dropped in X9. Cheers Vicki
I have this program installed but sadly it does not show all the fonts I have installed is there a way I can get the program to rescan my fonts to get them all to show up please? If not is there a reason that the program does not show all the fonts. I found that reinstalling the program worked ok now, it would appear that FmsProxy was not running.
From using the program to create the flag and banner to the finished project. I am after all these years still impressed with what I can do with pageplus.

My husband uses Affinity Photo and Designer for projects involving heat pressing and I use pagePlusX9 (Ok I know its a DTP program but I find it so useful for all that I do. So between us we have just created 6 templates of actual size key fobs and coasters
We used two layers for each template, one for non printing visual guides and the other for printing positioning guide plus the artwork. These are then output using N-up printing from the Print/PDF Preview file menu to check if all is ok and the number we want to print. All in all it works very well and PagePlusX9 lives to fight another day with our new venture. Cheers Vicki
I use CTRL plus the scroll wheel to zoom.
Pberk I've been using Page Plus from day one and I never knew this function either. this helps enormously.

The answer to this is probably no but is there a way to position the Zoom slider from the bottom of the workspace onto the toolbar at the top of the workspace. i have already put the icons for zoom plus and zoom minus on the top toolbar.
Following from this thread. I would like to make page2 the 1st number one in the booklet I am doing, I am sure there is a way of doing this but for the moment it escapes me. page 1 is the front cover and I do not want a page number on that. Any help and guidance would be most welcome. Cracked it, messing around with the number format settings. Cheers Vicki
Well I fell like a numb-nut now. I have just realised why and how I had lost the resource manager.........I had dragged it to my second monitor and forgot to drag it back again before closing the program.
Thanks Geoff, I looked at the original file after trying you suggestions with no difference so fortunately I still had the original file so I compared that with the mended file and all works now. On my A4 master page on the original file the page number was shown twice once either side of an A5 layout on the A4 sheet. I altered the amended file and all works ok now.
I am obviously missing a trick or I have done something wrong. I am creating a booklet 12 pages and when I first started I could see the pages number 1-12, after altering the file several time I can only see the page number on screen and in the created PDF file on the even pages. Win11 64bit version. Please help/Advise. Cheers Vicki
Cheers Geoff, have done that, whoopee, the resource manager is back, just going to spend some time tomorrow restoring my personalisation's.

On another note I can get all the managers to load in Tools apart from the resource manager. is this just me or again a windows update problem?
Good morning to all. This problem has been bugging me ages but I have only just got round to ask if at his happens to anybody else, if so how do you cure it.
If I double click on a pageplus file the program opens but not the file, If I request the file to open in Explorer all works ok otheriwise I have to open pageplus then use file/open
Should of added win10 and win11

Sorry to hear about your recent problem. the same as you however on Win11 after a recent windows update several apps including the settings app, file explorer and Whatsapp refused to open I tried everything i could think of to resolve the issue. I only restored everything as should be after doing a full System restore. I am sorry I cannot help you with your problem as PagePlusX9 was not effected.
Just wondering if anybody else was using Pageplus for sublimation. Even though its basically a DTP program I can do most of my sublimation creations from Pageplus but need to use Affinity Designer for more complex projects. Just curious if anybody else uses the program for a similar output. Cheers Vicki
Good afternoon to all. Just thought I would pass on our experience upgrading our new Desktop PC to win11 from 10. All went well and all programs seem to be working ok with just a couple of hiccups at the moment.
1st problem is that we ended up with two registered entries for the same program and as we are only allowed 2, we had to unregister the program on my husbands laptop, then unregister the PC duplicate entry on the venders website then reregistered the copy on the laptop.
2nd problem was that MP4 files which the default program to open and play them was VLC, the file type had altered to open in 7Zip. which has now been rectified.
I am sure tat we will find others as time goes on, but fingers crossed all seems to be working now.

As usual not a lot of room for John and I to sit down.
John and I do not do many miles driving nowadays (our age I suppose) that's why we are glad we bought a plug in hybrid a couple of years ago. We charge the battery overnight at our driveway on half price electricity. Sadly our fixed dual price tariff comes to an end in October, so will prices have come down by then one wonders?
