Thanks Gordon, it'll be interesting to see if the video is any more successful then my previous attempt.  https://punster.me/images/thumbup1.gif

I wonder - keep us posted.

This is a revisited video that I made in 2017. I posted it on You Tube and had some very poor feedback.

I decided to have another go at it and this is the result, I hope you like it.

That's very good GB.
I'll probably go over to windows 11, a week before windows 12 comes out. https://punster.me/images/unsure.gif

When I showed this video to Jill this morning, she said the same thing, and that was before she read your comment Eric. Apart from being en-caged, they are used to a much colder climate, so not good.

Just finished watching this video, it was uploaded by one of my You Tube chums who lives up north. Most of her videos are pretty good, but this one was, in my opinion, exceptional. It was shot in Cumbria at the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis.

Sit back and enjoy 6 minutes and 41 seconds of fantastic footage. I hope I have not built this up too much!!

Talk about re-inventing the reel.

Nicely done Gordon.

I think that it would have been better had you made another post rather than editing your last post. Reason being that it does not show up on the index page that an edit has been made, whereas a new post will have done so. I am guessing that not too many people click on a thread that they have already read.

I guess you can always think of a reason where a smartphone would be useful as in your example Vicki. In my experience of taxis, I find it reasonably straightforward to use my mobile from home to summons the taxi, they generally tell you how long they will be, you can even book one for a day or two in advance. Coming home I use my mobile phone to get my taxi.

I appreciate you cannot get a neat display of the location or ETA of the taxi using my 20th century method, but it works reasonably well.

A few years ago we went to see a recording of "Pointless" at Boreham Wood. We had to print out our email invitation and show it at the door to the studio. I think we were the only members of the audience to do this as most people had their invitations on their smartphones.

It's the same as ordering a takeaway from the local restaurant, most people appear to use an app on their smartphones for this, I pick up my mobile and order it as normal. No hassle and perfectly fine.

I think it's a question of what you have never had you do not miss.

My wife and I watch BBC Breakfast every day and I had no need to look for logos on mugs etc. It's a very good programme, informative and entertaining with just about the right amount of banter. It tackles serious issues as well as lighthearted stuff, they interview pop stars, actors and review TV programmes, and not just BBC programmes.

I am obviously referring to the use of smartphoness in society. At its height 9 people in ten owned a smartphone, but now it seems that they are becoming less popular. A small percentage of people have had enough of these devices because they are starting to realize that they are wasting too much time on them, and not living life to the full.
Here is an interesting article taken from the BBC website.

You're very kind Mr Punster.

I just feel that forum users need to be given a warning regarding the content of some videos posted on this, oh so genteel forum. William, for example, may not be able to handle Gordon's video.
I was very grateful that I did not have a heart condition. https://punster.me/images/biggrin.gif

That was a bit scary Gordon, especially that last frame!
