Topic: Regarding: Diverse Internationalisation of Teacher Education

I refer to the following post.

The post is accessible fom this page, this noted in case any further posts are made on the topic.

In the post there are links to two Twitter threads.

I have never used Twitter, I know of Twitter, but not the details of using it, so can anyone who knows about Twitter say whether the information in the second Twitter link has been cross-referenced to the first Twitter link please?

I’m afraid I don’t really understand your question, William. The first link takes you to the profile page for DITE’s Twitter account, and the second link takes you to André Schappo‘s thread discussing the need to get Unicode onto schools’ Computer Science and Information Technology curricula.

Thank you for replying.

What I am wanting to know is whether there is anything such that anyone reading the DITE thread would become aware, from some link or reply or whatever or however Twitter does it in that thread, of André Schappo's thread. So that the DITE readers would become aware of his opinions ove the need to educate teachers about Unicode and its uses.

Re: Regarding: Diverse Internationalisation of Teacher Education

Thanks for the clarification. Like the Serif Affinity Forums, Twitter offers a mechanism for ‘following’ other users or threads. And like CommunityPlus, there’s a notification bell. So when André Schappo (sorry, André 小山 Schappo) ‘tagged’ the DITE account and its followers by mentioning ‘.@dite_project’ in his tweet, followers of their Twitter account would be notified, subject to their notification settings allowing that.

Thank you.

Two more posts in the Unicode mailing list thread, one from me, one a reply to my post.

Yes, I went searching on YouTube as a result of that reply to my post.
