Topic: A list of things that Bing Chat AI will not do at present

Within various threads things that Bing Chat AI will not do are being found. Please post any such finds in this thread, preferably with a link to any post in another thread where that find is discussed.

Already found are as follows.

A nineteen line poem will not be produced, a poem of some other number of lines (16 or 20 sometimes) is produced yet purported to be a poem of nineteen lines when it is not, unless the AI is asked to produce a villanelle, whereupon a good result is produced.

When asked for an original picture involving a gibbous moon, a full moon is shown.

When asked for an original picture of the English 1813 Locomotive "Puffing Billy", pictures of other locomotives from many years later, from about 60 or 100 years later.

It appears thus far that Bing Chat AI will not allow a female gondolier.

Please paint an original oil painting in the style of Renoir. The scene is a small canal in Venice. There is a gentleman as a passenger in a gondola. The gentleman is wearing a suit. The gondolier is female. It is a very sunny day. The picture includes an area of water, with ripples refecting the sunlight.

William, I had the same problem.  It was difficult to make Bing Chat produce a woman gondolier. I eventually got a female, but it took some doing.  Too exhausting to show you all the various prompts and results. Just know that you are not alone when it comes to female gondoliers failing to appear.  One reason may be that female gondoliers are very very rare.  But of course, that's no excuse when creating a work of art.

Each day when I start experimenting with Bing Chat AI I start a WordPad text file, a .rtf file, I name the file including the date, today is 20240123 Tuesday, then the files are sorted alphabetically by name in date order.

As I proceed I write each prompt that I intend to use in the WordPad file before using it, then copy and paste into Bing Chat AI to use it. I then paste the URL address of the image group into the WordPad file. If I get a text response from Bing Chat AI I copy from Bing Chat AI and paste into the WordPad file.

I save the WordPad file as I proceed. So I now have a collection of WordPad files with all the prompts that I have used. Indeed I am drafting this forum response in the same file and I noted the time, 23:15, before I started writing this forum response.

The following prompt worked to paint a female gondolier, but some pictures did include other people.

Please produce an original impressionist painting in the style of Renoir. A lady is steering a gondola. There are no men in the painting. The only person in the painting is the lady.
