Topic: Video Gallery

The link below is to a video gallery (nanogallery2) running in Webplus X8.

https://video.discoverproductivity.co.uk/index.html

The first page is fixed and the second is responsive. It can display videos from Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion, and works by linking to the files on the original hosts to bring over the image, and links to the video on play. By not having to upload videos with Webplus the file size is extremely small. The two pages in the link (28 Videos) come in at 120kb. The gallery is best being on a page of it's own.

The install is code only (not wysiwyg) but very simple to do. It has to be for me to do it, and is mainly copy and paste of HTML Fragment(s) and entering the video id.

Should you want to use it let me know and I'll generate an instruction sheet and supply the file.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure.

Re: Video Gallery

Hi Joe,
This looks like something I could use on the site I look after. I would be interested to see how you did it.

Re: Video Gallery

Hi DerekE,

I'll put something together and post it.

Re: Video Gallery

This looks good. I am in the process of uploading videos of our church sermons but I do not quite understand how to use the video player and with the f play list but I don't want to store the files on my pc in a folder.  I would rather store them up on a directory on my web server.  Any idea how to manage this?  The files are both MP4 and webm so that they can be played on any browser. Right now I just have them access the directory where the videos are located so the user can select what ever date they want.  this is a new feature I am trying to incorporate.  My knowledge base is low end intermediate.  Here is the link to the page I have right now.
