Re: Extensions

entered pageplus X9 file

so that's better then.

Without trying all  it looks as if we can upload and download several file types. Better than before

New feature! Click on the ‘Add image to post’ link below the message box. Your photo will be uploaded to the postimage website and then shared here.

I did see the blue icon, but I didn't know how to use it. I'll have a go

Re: Extensions

this is a test of the blue icon!

Wow! Now we have full capability. except for nit-picking like getting back simply to working post.

I think you’re missing the identifier for your pic, Anne! That URL takes me to the home page for postimages.org, instead of showing me the full-size picture.

Re: Extensions

Alfred, you are doing a marvellous job in maintaining this new forum. Thanks.

Reverting to problems with the forum facilities, is there any possibility of adding "delete/restore last change" features? Desirable, if not actually definitely required.

Thank you, Jack. That’s very kind of you.

Even with my admin privileges I only see “(edited by…)” against edited posts. I don’t have access to the post history, as far as I’m aware.

Re: Extensions

I don't mean anything connected with posts previous to the one being written. Just that in the current post being written, or edited, one should  be able to delete some text, and restore it. The facility was there in the former forum Lounge. Usually delineated by a left and right facing arrow in the toolbar.

This is normal in most word processors and many apps. But you know what I mean.

I appreciate that if you can't find it, or do it, that's that.

Re: Extensions

I see what you mean now. The toolbar on CP has arrows that are missing from the toolbar here.

Is there really much difference between the standard Undo/Redo keyboard shortcuts and what those arrows do? https://punster.me/images/unsure.gif

What are they? Do I know them under another name?

Found them
Undo: Control + z
Redo: Control +y

But I like to see icons, especially on a toolbar, easier to visualise what they do.
