Topic: Ride On Mowers

Having just bought a used mower which requires some mechanical TLC, in the course of finding out what the levers and switches do, I found a headlamp switch. Now you can call me old fashioned but I have never attempted to cut grass at night, nor do I know of anyone or heard of anyone who does. Do you, or do you know of anybody who does? If indeed it is rare, why do these things have headlights?

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure.

Re: Ride On Mowers

If you had ever mowed your lawn in Texas summer heat, which starts getting ugly about four and a half minutes after the sun comes up, you would understand.  The headlight primarily serves to aid in avoiding the Texas nocturnal lawn gnomes.
