Topic: changing default margins

I`ve forgotten how to change the default margins so each new publication will open with the new margins . Cant find it in the user guide. Any help would be appreciated .

Choose ‘Save Default Settings…’ from the Tools menu, tick the desired options in the dialog that pops up, and then press ‘Save’.

Would this be the same or similar action for setting indents on paragraphs in a publication?

Any object defaults that you’ve updated should be preserved when you choose to save the default settings, but the easiest way to achieve consistent first-line indents would be via a paragraph style.
