Me again sorry. When I`m typing in an ordinary text box and have to correct a letter the text next to it deletes so I have to delete the whole word and retype. I must have something "turned on" so wondering how to get back to normal.
Press the Insert (or Ins) key on your keyboard to toggle ‘Overtype’ mode on or off.

I’m not surprised! It’s very frustrating when you don’t know how to fix something because you don’t know why it went wrong in the first place.
