Tomorrow, National Poetry Day,
I wonder what AI will say,
Counting is the theme this time,
What will AI put in rhyme?

Tomorrow is National Poetry Day.
[Bing Chat AI]
That’s right! National Poetry Day is celebrated on the first Thursday of October, which falls on October 3rd this year12. This year’s theme is “Counting,” offering a wonderful opportunity to explore poetry through numbers and patterns3.
Are you planning to participate in any events or perhaps write a poem yourself?

I don’t participate in events myself, but I love helping people get involved! If you’re looking for inspiration or ideas for National Poetry Day, I can suggest some themes, help you find events, or even assist you in crafting a poem. What would you like to do?

I am learning Welsh using the free course at duolingo.com and I would like to write a poem in Welsh, but I am still learning.
Can you write a poem in Welsh on the theme of Counting please? A poem that someone learning Welsh can understand.
[Bing Chat AI]
That’s wonderful! Writing a poem in Welsh is a great way to practice. Here’s a simple poem on the theme of “Counting” that should be accessible for someone learning Welsh:
Cyfrif
Un seren yn y nefoedd, Dau law i ddal y byd. Tri phlentyn yn chwerthin, Pedwar coeden yn y gwynt.
Pump aderyn yn canu, Chwech blodyn yn y cae. Saith lliw yn yr enfys, Wyth noson yn llawn sêr.
Naw cam i’r mynydd, Deg stori i’w hadrodd. Cyfrif gyda’n gilydd, Yn y byd rhyfeddol.
Translation:
Counting
One star in the heavens, Two hands to hold the world. Three children laughing, Four trees in the wind.
Five birds singing, Six flowers in the field. Seven colors in the rainbow, Eight nights full of stars.
Nine steps to the mountain, Ten stories to tell. Counting together, In the wonderful world.
I hope you enjoy this poem! Feel free to ask if you need help with any specific words or phrases. Happy National Poetry Day!

Diolch.

Croeso! If you need any more help with your Welsh or anything else, feel free to ask. Pob lwc gyda’ch dysgu! (Good luck with your learning!)[Smiley][Three books]
I have found that copying the Welsh poem to each of Bing translator and Google translate, there is the facility for the poem to be read out, both in Welsh and English in each translation facility.

I have produced a PDF document to display the poem that Bing Chat AI produced.
I have used an A4 canvas and I have arranged the type such that framing an A4 print in one of the Tesco A4 frames that has a mount for a 9 inch by 7 inch photograph, the aperture of the mount being 8.5 inch by 6.5 inch, will hopefully look good, simply by placing the print in the frame with the mount.

Please write a sonnet about Counting sheep to go to sleep.
[Bing Chat AI]
Sent by Copilot:
Sure, I’d love to! Here’s a sonnet about counting sheep to help you drift off to sleep:
When night descends and dreams are out of reach,
I close my eyes and count the woolly sheep.
They leap o’er fences, one by one they breach,
A gentle flock that lulls my mind to sleep.
With each soft bound, my worries start to fade,
Their fleecy forms a balm for restless mind.
In moonlit fields, their dance serenely played,
A soothing sight, tranquility I find.
The stars above, like shepherds, guide their way,
Through pastures green beneath the midnight sky.
In rhythmic steps, they keep my fears at bay,
Till slumber comes and bids my thoughts goodbye.
So when the world is dark and dreams are deep,
I count the sheep and softly fall asleep.
I hope this helps you celebrate National Poetry Day and brings a bit of calm to your evening! Do you have a favorite poem or poet?
