Topic: Problems with PDF creation

I have been a user of Serif products forever and have used PP9 for creating a monthly Parish Magazine.
Suddenly (this week) I've encountered errors when creating a PDF to send to the printers
This appears ad comes up with the following message -
Failed to create PDF. (1118) PDF_open_pdi_page: Handle parameter or option of type 'PDI document has bad value -1

Can anyone give me any clues on this please?

I have tried this on more than one PC too - all running windows 10

Does your document use a new or unusual font(s)?

Re: Problems with PDF creation

PDI (Portable Document Image) is a file format used to store scanned documents and images. Although PDI files are less prone to corruption or data loss than other image formats and are therefore generally considered to be more reliable, it’s still possible that one or more of of the images in the document is corrupt and in need of replacement.

If you remove the image files one at a time, you should be able to identify any corrupt ones.

Re: Problems with PDF creation

Thank you for your replies, the odd thing is one of the pages that have now failed was sent as a proof to the original author as a compiled PDF and was fine, however when I try and compile the complete document it fails on that page and one other which was created in Excel and saved as a jpg!
