Topic: Shooting in New York City
I have stayed at the hotel at which the CEO of UnitedHealthCare, the largest private medical insurance provider in the U.S., was gunned down earlier this morning. This hotel is 4 Star and most assuredly not in a bad neighborhood in New York City. The office building I visited many times in my working life is only a few blocks away. The hotel is within walking distance of Times Square. My business trips to NYC gave me some familiarity with that area, and I always enjoyed just walking around seeing things since NYC is, well, New York City.
The very thought of a crime like this taking place in an area like that simply staggers me.
Rant over.
