Topic: Any version Pageplus, but STARTER EDITION.

Allow me to thank all for welcoming me.

I found this beautiful home of Pageplus Diehards through my hi and low search for a link to download PPX4.

At this point am pleading with anyone who has knowledge of where I can get it or has a copy willing to let go or share (Whatever)

My laptop was stolen from a car and with it I lost unimaginable work, luckily am used to saving document to my gmail as a backup. Installed a SE in my new PC but its got too much limitations I cant even render a PDF out. Now am sitting with lots of files that are useless if I cant get hold of an installer.

I don't mind any version. Its mentioned quite repeatedly that we can use 881887 to activate any version. (yet they keep the software away neutral)

Please, please.....

881887 is a universal Registration code not the Product Key needed to activate the software. Do you still have your PPX4 Product Key?

If nobody is able to help you with PPX4 I may be able to help you with PPX5.

Hello Ericlnz.

Thank you so much for your spontaneous response and offer. Like I said am open to any Version I will willingly accept PPX5, unless someone hooks me up with PPX4 (no one so long but I suppose its too early to say).

Yes,I still do have the PPx4 product key.

You are quite right on 881887, I got it all wrong.

I will be patiently waiting for any forthcoming assistance X4 or x5 I will appreciate so so much (or even beyond)

I’ve certainly used PagePlus X4 in the dim and distant past, but the fact that there’s no key for it on my list of legacy product keys suggests that it may not need one. Are you sure that the key you have isn’t for a different product?

Are you sure that the key you have isn’t for a different product?

If @tati can give us just the first eight digits of the PK that will tell us.

well, I have no way to check if it was either Version 4 or 4X.

My belief its 4X is based on the my Licence key (I will share the 1st 8 of the 25 as per your request... : PPX4U INT01

That is indeed X4: there were no product keys before that. PagePlus X4 was version 14, PagePlus 4 was version 4 (i.e. ten versions earlier). INT01 for the second part of the PK indicates an international order which was processed by a different company — cleverBridge AG, if I remember correctly — instead of being handled directly by Serif.

I’m afraid I don’t have a copy of the PPX4 installer readily to hand, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one or more of our fellow forum members is in a position to help you with that.

Hi,

I've found my serial number for PagePlus X4, it's PPX4X-SER01-nnnnn-nnnnn-nnnnn

I used to retail serif products when I was in business and buy it in bulk to preload it on all new PC's.

Hopefully that number may work for you.

2ndtonunn - best not to post serial numbers on a public forum. 

Anyway @tati has his/her own so doesn't need it.  What is required is a copy of an installation file or disc contents.  Are you able to provide that?

It looks like PPX4 may be available out there on the net.  This site looks promising https://archive.org/details/serif-pageplus-x4

I didn't investigate further.  Maybe it's too good to be true?

Thank you for the link, I was so overwhelmed that I even forgot my manners to say thank you. I am very grateful indeed irrespective.

am not sure if its my internet speeds (tried at two different places) or my laptop that I am temporarily using. the download (1.5gb) just crashes along the process in all instances I have attempted, citing no longer connectivity issue

The archive.org link gives a very slow download which could be the problem.

I will be very grateful if anyone hooks me with an installation file, X4 or anything else. If it has to be anything other tuan X4, I may need a license key as well.

I may be coming across as somehow crazy but it's desperation that's gotten me over.

I am hopeful someone will eventually assist.

When I lost my installer DVD for PagePlus, I was at a loss and didn't know where to turn. Your forum welcomed me with open arms, and I was overwhelmed by the willingness of so many of you to assist me.

A special thanks to Alfred, who ultimately ensured that I not only find a solution but has also provided me with a higher version than I had before. Your dedication and generosity truly speaks volumes and I cannot thank you enough.

While my immediate issue has been resolved, I look forward to continuing my journey with this wonderful community. I am eager to learn more, share knowledge, and grow together as we explore the amazing capabilities of PagePlus even though the application suffered a premature termination.
