Topic: MoviePlus and Avast Virus checker

A couple of days ago, when I came to import a project file into MVP X6 this message popped up from my virus checker, and I have no idea what it means or why it has suddenly appeared out of the blue. Anybody any ideas, or what I should do about it?

Re: MoviePlus and Avast Virus checker

I would ignore it. Since Movieplus is so old, it probably can't pass some of the authenticity certificates that anti-virus programs look for.

Re: MoviePlus and Avast Virus checker

Thanks Tom. We have simply clicked out of it and carried on as normal without any problems. Just a couple of clicks more to get into the program I guess. Not a great problem, just a little tiresome.

Thanks Tom, that seems to have done the trick. Not quite sure what I did, but by following your link and playing around with a few settings here and there, then trying to open a project in MVPX6, in hope rather than expectation, the project opened up just fine without that annoying message. Thanks once again.

Re: MoviePlus and Avast Virus checker

Hi Albert, I have the same issue with other, older, software using Windows antivirus. I don't mind that it catches something, as long as the fault can be overridden. Glad to be of assistance.
