Topic: still can't get ppx9 on to new computer

Greetings from Ohio! I have been trying to install ppx9 on my new computer. I have the installation file and it installs up to the product key ( I think that's the one Alfred described to me).  5 boxes of 5 digits. The problem is after I put them in, it just keeps telling me to try again! This is my original key and it worked on this computer just fine. I moved to two new computers over the years. Unfortunately I'm having trouble with this new computer.  Am I doing something wrong here?

Are you perhaps using O (letter) instead of 0 (number)?

Thanks GB, that's something I never gave a thought about! After looking, I see the only zero in that key is in the second set of 5 which is 'SER01" the same as the keys for my other Serif titles.
Again, many thanks, it could have been the problem.

GB, I feel like a fool.
After your post and my reply about the only zero, which I shared with my wife, I tried once more, loading the install file on the new computer, which took about 40 minutes. As I typed away putting in the 5 section code (with my wife causally watching), I filled in the 4th box when I heard from over my shoulder, "aren't you supposed to put in what you wrote down on that paper?". It seems all 4 tries I had been  typing 32 instead of 23 in part of the code! PPX9 is now on the new laptop. My wife is happy (she also has tons of PP docs), I'm happy (although SLIGHTLY embarrassed) and most importantly everyone on the forum has had a good giggle, myself included.
I always find something to learn when on the forum.I forgot how much i enjoy read through them.
