My guess is that this is caused by the (new to Copilot) landscape format, where the 1024 px height is exactly two thirds of the 1536 px width.

I later realized that I used a term from papermaking.
I have known the term deckle edged since the mid-1960s due to my interest in, and activity in, letterpress private press printing.

So used in the post out of its original context, but the edge of the picture just looked like that.
