Topic: Margins. From printer

Good morning sadly I cannot find how to retrieve the printer margin setting from my printer within Affinity3 (Canva) can anybody point me to the setting please? Cheers Vicki

Information from elsewhere indicates that Windows has the ability to retrieve the printer margins from the printer but macOS does not. I can confirm that the option is (unexpectedly) not available to me in Affinity Studio on Windows 10 Pro.

Thank you Alfred, I should of said I am using win11. I wont carry on looking for it then. Have now created a couple of A4 pre-sets with margins.  Retrieved from pageplusX9 Cheers Vicki.

I knew you were a Windows user, Vicki! I would expect the option to be present on both Win 11 and Win 10, and this seems like a curious omission.

Obviously we can retrieve the printer margins by other means (including the Affinity version 1 and 2 apps) but we shouldn’t have to do that.

So annoying as my Canon printer has different top and bottom margins (presumably to allow the paper grab feed?) Yes I can enter these manually but just another reason for me to continue using Photo 2 on windows 11.
