Re: WebPlus to HTML not WYSIWYG

It would be nice if the OP responded to all replies. There's not much point in taking time to write a reply if they cherry pick the posts they read and/or just move on to another query.

1. Exactly. Has the column issue been resolved?

2. Surely the simplest way on his particular text and image issue is to place the image top left on a panel. Small text frame next to the image with the Bothand. Text frame underneath the image for all the other text.

Somewhere over the rainbow, weigh a pie ...

What she said! And as Andrew has pointed out:

You can’t possibly cover all bases, but at a minimum you should view your web pages in Safari, Firefox, and a Chromium-based browser, so that you can compare the different handling by the main browser engines (WebKit, Gecko, and Blink, respectively). Safari for Windows hasn’t been updated in very many years, so it probably isn’t worth the bother, but it’s the default browser on Apple devices.

Thanks. During a project I frequently view it in Firefox to see how it looks in a browser. And I when I finish a project, I also look at it in Microsoft Edge, and seldom find significant differences.

But I still insist that I used to be able to flow text around an embedded picture. I have several instances on similar past pages. But my senile brain can't remember how it was done. And HELP is no help.

I am sorry, but this has NEVER been possible in WebPlus without manual intervention. As GB has suggested, you must have taken a different route. The help file cannot help you with a feature that has never existed in the software!

In my naivety as a novice web designer way back when, I did think at first that this was an oversight in WebPlus and lobbied for it when I was a member of the closed beta testing team, but I have since come to realise that there were and remain very good reasons for not implementing it, and they are related to the way that HTML works. Because of being a beta tester and from the many websites I built with WebPlus (for myself and for clients), I knew the software pretty intimately. I am afraid you are chasing shadows if you continue to believe that WebPlus can do this.
