Topic: Looking for WebPlus X8

Elderly newby here. I used to own almost all the Serif products, thanks to regular phone calls from a friendly Serif salesman in England. I got as far as X5 before transitioning to a Mac.  I'm back on a Windoze 11 box now and did manage to find PagePlus X9 on Amazon which works great, but no luck for the last version of WebPlus X8 which I hope also works on Win11. I have seen copies of X5 and X6 here and there, but don't think they would run on Win11.
Any pointers as to where to look for a copy of WebPlus X8 (with product key of course) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Do you still have an installer disc or download for WebPlus X5, together with a valid product key? If so, the issue that’s most likely to trip you up on a modern display is the tiny text that you’ll get unless you tweak the settings: please see this post.

Re: Looking for WebPlus X8

Well I had to download an iso of WebPlus X5 and burn a disc first, but I'll be danged if it didn't install and run with teeny, tiny text as you said it would. I'll just change the display resolution to 800x600 when using it, but otherwise I am good to go!

Thanks for your help!

That’s less than ideal, obviously, but I’m glad it’s at least somewhat usable!

Re: Looking for WebPlus X8

The 800x600 resolution was awful, so I tried 1920x1080 and it is perfect--full screen and easy to read.
