I suspect that you somehow managed to include ‘bold’ markup twice, with one pair of tags nested inside the other. When the forum software detected this, it should (according to a quick experiment here) have removed the extra tags, in which case pressing ‘Submit reply’ or ‘Preview reply’ a second time would have worked OK.

If you want to try again with an attachment, please use text instead of a screenshot (so that Joe or anyone else trying to help you can copy the text to work with it). Paste the code into a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++, save it and then attach the *.txt file here.

It looks as though the elephant may be using the chalk here!

Poor birds.  The nuts are bigger than the mesh holes so they couldn't get them out in one piece.  But then they are woodpeckers!

If the mesh holes were that big, the nuts would fall out and/or the local squirrels would take them all.

Trump Has Few Ways to Overturn His Conviction as a New York Felon

New York appellate courts rarely overturn a jury decision without evidence of serious errors. The judge in Donald J. Trump’s case closed off many avenues.

New York Times live updates

The former president sat largely expressionless, a glum look on his face, after the jury issued its verdict.

I’m unsure how he could reasonably have been described as expressionless if he had a glum look on his face!

Welcome, Tom! Thanks for joining us here.

You can print the current page by adding a form button and setting its 'onclick' attribute to

javascript:window.print();

To configure the button so that it only appears on the screen, not on the printed page, add a '@media print' CSS rule that sets the 'display' property to 'none'.

Download the attached *.wpp file, open it in WPX8, right-click on the 'Print this page' button and choose 'HTML Source...' to view the code.

When does it change?

Does it lock in to a time once in a PDF document or what?

William

I don’t see how it could work dynamically other than on a web page.

Some of them may be spammers, some may be search bots, others may be members or non-members who simply want to see whether any of the topics are of interest to them. As it’s a public forum, you only need to be logged in to post or to download attachments.

Which program and which technique should I use to produce a picture like this one produced by Bing Chat AI please?

https://punster.me/serif/viewtopic.php?pid=4035#p4035

Well, it’s a digital painting, so Affinity Photo seems the obvious choice. As for “which technique” to use, you would probably need several techniques depending on which part of the painting you’re working on.

I’m not an artist, but I would start with a rough sketch of the entire picture and then concentrate on a well-defined area. To draw a subject such as the elephant, trace around it with the Pencil Tool or the Pen Tool, fill the resultant shape with a suitable base colour, and then refine it from there.

That explains the derivation of the name Black Stanier, but not the name Black 5, and I still don’t know why it was changed.

Oh sorry, Alfred, I took your question as meaning why the change from using the name of the designer, I did not pick up that you also wanted to know why the number 5 was used. Though upon rereading now with hindsight, it is clear that you were asking two questions. Had I realized I would have said.

Thank you, William. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn’t it!
