Try holding control key down and open Movieplus, that should reset it to how you originally had it.

That will restore the default settings which the OP has already accidentally restored. It won’t restore the custom layout that he was using previously.

BTW, I'm surprised that you didn't mention my spelling mistake on a caption, or were you too polite to mention it? wink

Assuming you mean the caption for the section immediately before your fifth clue, I wasn’t going to mention it unless you did!

If the trip should have taken about an hour and you had expected to arrive around 11:15, you must have left at 10 o’clock or so. 1 o’clock is nearly three hours later, which is fully double the expected journey time and then some, not ‘almost double’. That aside, it was clearly well worthwhile.

Eric - my new avatar is too big - I need to tweak it!!! Now done.

For anyone who hasn’t seen — or doesn’t remember — the old avatar drawn by Ken (‘Major Confusion’) Cope, it looks like this:

Last Wednesday we made our way to Nymans, a NT property in West Sussex. This year they are doing a Narnia theme for the garden with various wardrobes, white witches and lions scattered around the place, it was quite magical, It carries on until January 5th, if you get the chance to go I can thoroughly recommend it.

Please enjoy my video of it.

Lovely, Albert. No doubt a nice day trip from Essex, but rather too far from my neck of the woods!

A curious image with a curious caption! The former has what looks rather like a feather duster sticking up between its ears, and the latter refers to “an okapi impressionist”.

It seems odd that the codes are neither in medal order nor in alphabetical order. I wonder what the rationale was for putting bronze and copper before silver but after gold.

If you have some means of creating a system image, you can restore your machine to the state it was in before the OS update.

Have you tried the suggestion from Eric in Message 10 above? It maybe won't help, but won't do any harm.

Geoff

https://punster.me/images/tip.gif The timestamp for each message is linked to that message. If you go to message 10 and copy the URL to which the text 2024-09-29 23:20:32 is linked, you will find that it points to the message in question.

The fact that it say ‘Clipboard’ indicates that you added it (inadvertently!) by pasting it from the Windows clipboard. There should be a corresponding object visible in ‘Design’ view, in which case you should be able to select it there and delete it.

If you have to work in ‘Source’ view, you can only edit the white bits. Try changing

__AddCode="here"

to

style="display:none"

which should leave the <img> tag element in the HTML code but set it not to be displayed. A potential problem with this approach is that some browsers might override that ‘style’ attribute with the unchangeable one that follows it, which would mean that you’re back to square one.

28.6 KB is tiny! I don’t know what trigged that error message, but if you’d like to email the file to me I’d be happy to take a look.

No, you aren’t being stupid! It isn’t immediately obvious that for file attachments you need to use the Post reply link instead of the ‘Quick reply’ option.

I’ve just learned via an email from a fellow forum member that Steve sadly died earlier this year. Those who remember him from the official support forums will know that he was always an enthusiastic and helpful member of the Serif community.

RIP, Steve!

I saw the image before, William, and I can still see it now. Please help me to help you by describing what happened when you tried to add the PNG file; in particular, please quote any error messages you got.

If you’re still struggling to add it as a forum attachment you can upload it to your web space and use its URL as your image link.

In questions in textbooks and examinations, it is usual for all of the needed information to be supplied. In the present example, we don’t have the numbers that we would need in order to be able to calculate the probability.

Nor is it specified whether any red or yellow packets contain something other than microwaveable rice. We are merely told that the packets containing Lemon and Herbs flavour microwaveable rice are yellow, and that the packets containing Tomato and Basil flavour microwaveable rice are red.

I imagine that having your mind go is worse for the people around you, unless any moments of lucidity allow you to be aware of the bad bits. Coping with temporary physical difficulties is one thing, coping with permanent ones is obviously quite a different matter.

There would be huge security implications if Copilot were able to read the contents of your browser tabs. Imagine if you were in the middle of a Copilot session and you took a notion to log into a banking website to perform a transaction or simply to check your balance!

There would also be a major performance hit if your browser had scores or hundreds of open tabs whose contents Copilot had to inspect.
