If I understand correctly what you want, you need the text to wrap around the image.  Right click on the image and select "Wrap Settings".   From there take your pick.  Edge is probably what you want.  I'm PPX8 but PPX9 is probably the same.

I can certainly empathize with you there Eric. If only someone would invent a pill that  would give me more energy. I feel as though I've been suffering from fatigue for ever, well at least the last few years

But Albert you're only a youngster in your seventies.

Our current hot humid weather doesn't help.  But 27 degrees C is nothing to what my children get in NSW.

Larry, actually I don't have a download file.  My MVPX6 came on a disc of which a copy of the contents plus a patch is already in a 1.7gb zip file I uploaded to Google Drive previously for another user.  When you are ready I'll PM you with the link.

Larry, the first and important thing to do, if you haven't, is export your codec unlock codes to a small file which can be used to import them onto your home computer.  Otherwise you are stuffed as Serif shut down the unlock server years ago.  Search this forum for info on exporting the unlock codes.

Your product key can be found, if you don't have it.  From memory if you activate the registration screen it shows it there.

You will also need the universal registration number to get rid of the registration nag screen.  We can give you that.

I have the X6 download file somewhere which I can upload somewhere for you.

Recently I went on a village trip to Auckland Zoo. I hadn't been there for eight years and much had changed.  After two hours walking around I've ended up with a 5 minute video.  I was tired for many days afterwards.  Oh to be young and energetic.

Well caught Gordon.  It looks like you put food down to entice him/her in front of your camera?

Thanks Paul.  Next challenge for you is to make that into a video?

It might be best to ask on a Microsoft forum.  PPX7 is 32 bit.  I hope it doesn't mean 32 bit programmes won't run on Win 11!!  I've several 32 bit programmes for which 64 bit versions aren't available e.g Movie Plus.

Thanks Paul.  Now we know what you get up to on your cruises!

A Merry Christmas to all from me.   Although with our advancing years nowadays for many it's just another day.

I also recently discovered that touching one of the side buttons on my old Android also takes a photo.  Much easier for steadiness than touching the screen button.

Perhaps the comments on how the button works explains a similar experience I had to Albert.   Trying to take a group photo with someone's phone and I couldn't get it to work.  It turned out I'd taken lots of photos when the group wasn't expecting it.  The shots were hilarious with mouths open, silly faces.....

Thanks Gordon.  It must have been very refreshing to pass the shaded areas as the sun looked very warm.

It's CHRISTMAS

Last Thursday we went to see the Glow festival at Hyde Hall in Essex, a good time was had by all https://youtu.be/SL2M123ZzCU

The following day we went into Kent to see how a Tudor Christmas was celebrated at Ightham Mote.

Thanks Albert.  The coloured lights at Hyde Hall were very effective on the tree branches.

As for the ladies at Ightham and their phones I noticed it was Jill the photographer to the rescue.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

I haven't been doing much in the video world but we are often going for what I call "a lost drive" in our area in Spain. This one starts up in the hills and mountains a few miles inland from our coastal home and finishes in Sorbas in the evening and shows a lot the amazing family run pottery that has to be seen to be believed !

Thanks Gordon. As I may have commented with another of your scenic videos - the hills look very brown compared to my corner of the world.

You have a very impressive zoom on your camera.  What software did you use to convert your 4K to 1080?

Thanks Paul.  Very interesting and quite different to how I imagined the canal to be.  No wonder cruise ships appear so tall.  They need to keep to a width that will squeeze through!

Thanks Albert.  Some nice autumn colours.  Actually Winkworth Aboretum is in Surrey, near Godalming, although it reminded me of what I remember of rolling Sussex countryside.

I note Jill dressed to match the autumn colours.

Was this a trip organized by your village?

Yes we have "Out'n About" trips on most Wednesday afternoons.  Most of my recent videos have been taken on trips.  The van only takes 11 plus driver so you need to get your name down quick for popular ones.  I don't go on all trips.  Some are just to shopping malls.  The van also does morning trips to local shopping areas, useful for those who don't drive.  The van trips are free.

Another short video of a recent village trip to Butterfly Creek.  Not just butterflies, much more.  The dinosaurs were impressive!

"Butterfly Afternoon" can be found on Vimeo and YouTube.  Take your pick but make sure you are being streamed the 1080 50p version.  I find that both platforms sometimes stream me lower versions of videos even though I've a 50 Mbps plus download speed.

Bear in mind Tom that unless it's changed Affinity won't open your PP projects.

Yes mirror images annoy me and many phones take selfies this way.  For example a daughter recently visiting took a video while we were driving.  Suddenly I have a left hand drive vehicle whereas in fact I sit on the right (we drive on the left like the UK).  I can usually pick it up in photos by T Shirt lettering being back to front.

I may have done I can't remember though !

I suspect Alfred is querying whether you were born with your beard as how old are you now.  77?

It took me a while to find you Gordon, pausing at what I considered appropriate places.  But here you are, recognisable from your "tattoos" plus you are holding a camera

Thanks Gordon.  Were they wearing the exact same clothes?  Probably not as they probably wouldn't have been able to get into them?   Even though your dancers are "wearing well" it's amazing how much slimmer most of us oldies were in our younger days.

We missed seeing you dancing in the crowd but then as camera operator you had an excuse.
