Wow! I should have checked. WordPad never used to have justification.

Thank you.

You’re very welcome, William.

WordPad does not have text justification

Are you sure about that, William? Look at the ‘Paragraph’ options on the ribbon in this screenshot from https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/notepad-vs-wordpad:

Good news! Thanks for the feedback.

As long as there’s a tick in the ‘Also delete local settings files’ checkbox, I’ve never known Ctrl-runup to fail to reset the legacy ‘Plus’ applications to their installation defaults.

Assuming that it’s still available when your order is picked and packed, please don’t forget to give us an update once you’ve had a chance to try it out!

I only got a taster just now, too, but when I reloaded the page I could read the whole thing.

If you still can’t see it all, try this link.

Welcome to my merry little band, Jeff!

I don’t have PhotoPlus in front of me right now, but if you hover over any of the buttons on the Layers tab you should get a tooltip popping up with a brief description of its function.

Take a look at Ken Cope’s PhotoPlus Tutorials for an introductory guide to layers and layer masking.

Unlike ordinary metals, amorphous or ‘glassy’ metals have a glass-like structure instead of a crystalline structure in their solid state. However, unlike ordinary glass they have good electrical conductivity.

Thanks for the interesting link, William. When I read the headline I immediately thought of the ‘glassy metal’ that was shown to me about forty years ago.

Why would you be copy typing, unless you had written everything longhand initially?

30wpm is quite slow for typing on a wordprocessor unless you’re a beginner, but even at that speed you could type 50k words in about 28 hours, so completion of the novel within 30 days is theoretically quite achievable.

Welcome, Peter! I’m not a PhotoStack user, but I’d be interested to hear about any issues that you or other forum members have encountered.

Thank you very much for the reply Alfred. So it would be totally legal to use someone else's product key, if I could find one? I guess I will just try to return it for refund if not.

Despite the licence being described in the EULA as ‘non-transferable’, Serif staff have always made it clear that you can give away or even sell your product key as long as you’ve permanently uninstalled the product. As I said in my previous post, I no longer need PPX5 and you can therefore have my key if it would be of use to you.

As this is my first post in THIS forum (rather than the Affinity/Legacy forum that is now for Affinity products only), I want to express publicly my thanks to Alfred and any others involved in providing this forum for those of us who find one or more of the Legacy Plus programs still do a fine job for us.

You’re very welcome, Ron! Thanks for joining us here.

The Affinity Forums have always been for Affinity products only. Until it was closed a few months ago, CommunityPlus was the place to go when seeking official support for the legacy ‘Plus’ products.

Welcome to my merry little band, Patrick!

There is a universal registration key (881887) that stops you being nagged to contact a registration server that is no longer online, but you still need a product key for installation of the software. I no longer have PPX5 installed, and although I almost certainly have the discs somewhere I wouldn’t have any use for them if I ever found them, so I’d be happy to send you a note of the product key, but I don’t think I have a readily accessible copy of any patch installers for PPX5.

He had something of a habit of using words cleverly, didn’t he!

like the portmanteau words that appeared in Alice. Wasn't it Tweedledee or Tweedledum who said it? Please correct me if you remember.

I’m afraid I only vaguely remember something about portmanteau words in the Alice books, so if you’re looking for corrections you’re asking the wrong person.

I would make the QR code whatever size you need it to be, so that you can design and print the entire poster at A3 size. A5 might be doable if you prefer that approach, but A7 is only one sixteenth of the area of A3 (necessitating a huge amount of enlargement to achieve output at the desired size).

There are numerous sites that offer free QR code generation. Here’s one of them:

The word “coldly” is, of course, literal as well as figurative. Meats that were presumably served warm to those who attended the funeral would have been cold by the following day.

The new problem, for whatever reason the NAV BAR and most hyperlinks on the Home Page no longer work, but the NAV BAR works on other webpages.

The most common reason for a navbar or a hyperlink not working is that it’s covered by a transparent object such as an empty text frame.
