Thanks Paul. It looks very cold.
Interestingly tabby cats look the same world over. Felines have spread out everywhere!

The registration key and product key served different purposes. There are legal issues involved with passing on a product key, one of which is the payment of licensing fees for codecs being unlocked.
To my knowledge the only time passing on a key is legit is when the original installation is no longer used and removed from a pc. As Alfred said "The unlock codes are tied to your product key, and you can’t pass on a product key to anyone else if you’re continuing to use it yourself."
I agree with you Robert mainly because I rarely understand the emoji. So many look similar.
Perhaps the fonts need to be installed in your Windows Fonts folder?
I've only X8 where there's Effects in Photo Lab.
A recent visit to a local historic homestead https://vimeo.com/750308488
At 150 years old it's not historic for many of you guys, but it is for us.
The servants quarters remind me of my great, great, great aunt. In the UK 1851 census for Gloucestershire she was shown as 18 (actually 15) and a Lady's Maid at a house with 14 inmates in Cheltenham. Not much to look forward to. In July 1854, aged 18, she travelled to London and boarded the ship "Emigrant" along with 316 Government Emigrants, probably mainly young girls sailing to Adelaide, South Australia. What an adventure.
Thanks Gordon. Now I know what hops look like. At a quick glance they could be mistaken for brussel sprouts! It looks very manual. Is there not a hop picking machine or is the crop unsuitable for machine picking?
Gordon - Actually as you are able to post on the forum you could simply send him a PM. Sorry I should have realised that.
Try contacting Alfred at admin[at]punster[dot]me as I assume he can help.
Things have been quiet around here so I thought I'd post a short piece I made under my One-man-band banner. I'd love to hear what folks think of it.
Thanks Paul, very well done.
Being of senior years, I've just passed my 80th birthday, and with one of my retirement village friends passing two days ago I found it very moving.
Nice Eric .. a fun piece .. The white cat near the end was "robotic" -- right?
Yes "Moggie" is a battery driven "clockwork" cat. Given to me as part of my retirement present fifteen years ago. Two troublesome young ladies with whom I worked were behind it. She's a FurReal Kitty Cat from furrealfriends.com (Hasbro) in the USA. She's no longer shown on their website but I did see another like her years ago in a local shop.
She's also here in this video where more is explained https://vimeo.com/299351808
(incidentally what camera/camcorder do you use in later years)?
I'm still using my ten year old Canon Legria HFG10 shooting 1080 50i.
Well done Gordon.
Don't forget Aliens are nothing new. They've lived with us for thousands of years https://vimeo.com/198802408
Yes, I made a Crystal Radio in the 1950s from parts bought somewhere in South London. It wasn't a great success as the only station it picked up clearly was "Soviet Bulgaria".
Thanks Gordon. Obviously you had great fun playing around on your timeline.
I've come back to MoviePlus X6 after some while away (Not doing any video work).
I am aware of the messages on the old Serif Forums...
I encountered a little difficulty when I needed to Save a vid out as .AVI.
I was presented with the message, below grabbed. (The intended recipient requested .AVI)With the app now in "The twilight zone" is there any easy way to get around this problem?
Thanks
Arturox
Presumably you wanted DV-AVI export and DV Encoding requires a codec to be unlocked. Obviously yours isn't and you cannot get it unlocked now. Possibly you may find a third party codec on the net which MVP could use.
Recently the FCC Chairwoman made this statement, ""We’re not going to stop until we get robocallers, spoofers, and scammers off the line.”
I’m skeptical that they can. These robo callers are crafty buggers – and besides, would it necessarily be a good thing? Will we go too far?
I made a little film of what might happen.
Hmmm. Unfortunately I don't have a block button on my Uniden phone.
Yet another visit to RHS Hyde Hall in Essex. Quite a short one, just over 5 minutes, I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks Albert. You will have some autumn colours shortly while we look forward to spring.
In an odd moment I strung this together of views from our house and in Southern Spain.

Thanks Gordon. It looks a dry area. I recall a recent TV news item about fires in Spain. Were they near you?

Did someone say post your videos here? .. Ok .. Trip videos. Maybe that's a whole subject for discussion. They can be deadly dull and too long for human consumption. But, what the heck, this might interest somebody here.
Thanks Paul, very interesting. It must be frustrating being in a group and not able to spend time in areas where you'd like to concentrate on shooting.
I missed out on VCR days due to my 25 years "LOA" from film making. Jumping from Super 8 film of the early 80s to DV-AVI around 2005 was easy. But I hear stories from my movie making friends of the difficulties and frustrations of VCR.
Twins - Brilliant.
In recent years I've come to appreciate what Alzheimer is. Which brother was correct over their mother?
I recall another video you've made featuring neighbours and aliens which I enjoyed. Please post the link.
Well done. I remember it from a post on another forum a few months ago.
Wind is our biggest problem with handheld cameras.
