Not sure if this right place to ask, but thought you experts could maybe help me.

If you see my recent post re AlbumPlus you will see I have stubborn file I can't delete

Does anybody have any ideas on how to delete a file from windows 11 that refuse to be deleted ?

Hello All

I have several thousands of images that I view manage using AlbumPlus X4.  They are spread over about half a dozen Albums.  My main album contains over 10,000 images.

I have found now I can open albumplus and my main Album is currently operating as it should however if I try to open or swap to another album the program stops responding and then dies.

I guess this is the beginning of the end for AlbumPlus X4.

Therefore I suppose I better start looking for a replacement piece of software.

Can any of you recommend a replacement I could use. My main requirements would be
Be able to search using the existing tags applied by Albumplus (I believe they use the IPTC system) - ideally display results as thumbnails
Be able to add tags to new images
This one might be pushing it a bit - keep the tag hierarchy that Albumplus has
Ideally freeware however if it's the right software I would consider paying  (preferably not a monthly subscription)

Hi all

The title as good as says it all.

I tried to open Photoplus x5 today, I get splash screen then program shuts down. I'm running Windows 11, have the latest updates finally stopped photoplus working ?

Any help appricated
