I’m sorry to learn of your Windows woes. I hope the remaining CA2 problems are ironed out soon.
Just wanted to say thanks for posting this fix. I just couldn't understand why the programme wouldn't open up properly. I even tried a system restore, which didn't work, then I found your txt file.
I'm back to full working order now!
