William, are you saying you are only now learning the word "quoth"?
It's Win 11 that I am interested in not XP
Patrick has said that all Serif legacy applications that worked on Windows 10 seem to function correctly/identically on Windows 11 also. https://community.serif.com/forum/custo … swer385550
I still use XP on an old laptop. Like you, I don't use it for the internet, but I still use a few Qbasic programs that will not work on newer versions on Windows - unless anyone knows how!

But not for the "critically endangered" tiger, it seems.

(I except the use of a**, which is nonsense to a UK English speaker
Unless they speak with a Bristol accent.
Black cats are considered unlucky in the US. Except for the ginger female that spends half her time at my house currently, all the cats I've had, both here and in England, have been black, although several have had white noses, bibs and/or feet.
An easy mistake!
In the middle of one recent night, I heard my neighbours' cat scratching at my door. She is a very large long-haired ginger softy who spends much of her time in my house. So I leapt out of bed and opened the door. But what started to enter was not the cat, but a possum. The door closed quicker than it was opened!
Serif's decision is no surprise, but a little disappointing none the less. I wonder is Patrick (at least) will join us here.
