Thanks, Vicki. You might like to know that there’s also an italic style:

Greetings Serif users! I've not been big on needing forums, but sure glad Alfred has set this up.

Welcome, Cliff! Good to see you here.

The usual remedy for ‘Plus’ applications shutting down on launch is to reset your user settings by holding down the Ctrl key while you click on the program shortcut. You’ll probably have to put a tick in the ‘Also delete local settings files’ checkbox in the dialog that pops up, so it’s a good idea to back up any program customizations (e.g. custom palettes) beforehand.

I hope Jill meant to ask if any other men go along, or if it’s just Eric!

Yes, Arrange a collection now.

What?

Hmm. That appears to take me to the same place as your “What you need to do is” instructions, albeit by what seems to be a more circuitous route.

to use 'Send an item' then it will go to a customized page to arrange it all.
From there it is all straightforward to use.

Thanks for the clarification!

I sincerely hope it’s the wood-burning stoves, not the chimney fires, that are “so common nowadays”!

There’s already a replica, dating back to Victorian times:

There’s also a digitized version of the original tapestry:

https://www.bayeuxmuseum.com/en/the-bay … ore-online

There’s a digitized version of the British copy, but unlike the French digitization of the original it doesn’t include translations of the Latin text.

Thank you.

The website is a bit ambiguous in that to get them to collect a new item one needs to do a Send as there is a Collect which appears to be for other things including returning something somewhere and also something that I don't understand what it is.

Once again, too cryptic for me!

The idea of this restriction is, presumably, to avoid any mix-ups that could occur with labels for multiple unlabelled items.

William wrote:

That seems to imply that necessarily the 'postie' will affix the label to the item.

Indeed it does. If the postal delivery operative is collecting from your Safeplace rather than from you in person, it couldn’t reasonably be left to anyone else to affix the label.

(I’m not sure why they’ve put “llandus-ilio” instead of “llan-dusilio” or “llan-tusilio”, given that it refers to the seventh-century bishop, Saint Tysilio.)

Shows the power of PagePlus Photolab. I increased the exposure control. Without this, eyeballing the image, I could see only those I earlier posted.

Pioneer wrote:

After looking at Jackneve's reply I took the image into Affinity Photo and increased the exposure the number I have now is 3452839

Even without resorting to tweaks in an image editor you’ll see a different number depending on the ambient lighting conditions and your display brightness and contrast settings. Viewing the image on my iPad I only saw 4528 at first, but when I scrolled up and down a little I saw 45283 and then 3452839. (It’s quite easy to mistake the 4 for a 1 if you can’t see the initial 3, and it’s equally tempting to read that 3 as an 8.)
