As many of you head towards winter we look forward to summer and here's Spring

Britain hadn't gone decimal when I left in Dec 1970. So I'm familiar with the old currency. NZ was already decimal with a dollar being the old ten shillings. Old coins were still in use for years for example a shilling coin was now ten cents, sixpence 5 cents etc.
Had William said his expressions related to currency I would have instantly known. I had a suspicion that was what he was referring to.
I'm not young and I don't know the meanings.
Two and six what?
Three and eleven what?
One and nine what?
Thanks William. We had been wondering if that was the situation.
This is PPX8 on Win 10
The Product key is for activating your PP. The registration key is for the optional registration. They are totally different.
I have on one computer running X9... is there a way I can see the product number key????
In PP - Help/Registration wizard. At the bottom of the window it should show your Product Key.
There's also a universal registration key you can use - 881887 so you don't get nagged again.
Thanks Paul. I had a look at Stockholm on Google maps after viewing it. I see what you mean about the islands. I wonder how Stockholm will cope with our expected sea level rise?
Ian - I'm sure MVPX3 didn't have codec unlocking. It was introduced with MVPX5. So I'm not aware of any reason that should stop X3 installing. What exactly happened when you tried to install?
Thanks Albert. Yes it's new.
Hail is uncommon for Auckland, at least where I live. It hailed on the morning of the trip to the Wintergarden but by the afternoon the weather had improved as you could see. A few days later it hailed again so I quickly grabbed my camera and shot it from my balcony which is one floor up.
Further down on the volcanic plateau skifields have had some of their best snow for years.
As you in the Northern hemisphere head towards winter we hopefully are moving out of it. It was very wet earlier but now has been dry for a while but cold. Well cold for us. It's 16 degrees C today.
Anyway a short 5 minute "Garden" video - "Winter at the Wintergardens" - https://vimeo.com/858289917
Thanks Albert/Steve. You've been quiet lately.
I noticed several artists painting. Was there something special on when you visited?

I've no idea but he is banging a drum and that makes a noise?

There's no audio Tom. Is there meant to be?
Serif shut down the Unlock server years ago when they abandoned Movie Plus. So unfortunately you are out of luck. Perhaps it's time to move to another video editor.
we live in a 500 year old oak beamed house that is a listed building so we are looking at history every day.
Gordon - A subject for an interesting video? You could include something about your local area which presumably also has history. Or perhaps you already have such a video?
Recent news items have mentioned the high temperatures in parts of Europe. I gather this includes Spain. Speaking to my brother in South London last Saturday he told me they have not had high temps.
NZ is a young country so our history is relatively recent. A recent visit to a historical village for "A"Glimpse Of Nostalgia" https://vimeo.com/845670430
I was looking at a friend's young great grandchildren today and thinking that I was once young like them. Then I thought what will the world be like when they reach my age (I'm 81 in a few days). Probably in a worse mess than it is now.
This is a commercial video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX9qSaGXFyg&t=561s
I find it scary. We won't be living in a real world soon!
What's in the bag? That's up to you.
My guess - stale sandwiches.
Thanks Paul. Brilliant. Well acted. Where do you get your ideas from? And please what's in the bag?
As for Jack I'm sure this page is him should someone more local wish to try and contact him https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/find-my-n … ict-scouts
Thanks Gordon. Everyone obviously enjoying themselves on a warm summers night.
I'm curious. William where have you been?
Actually Alfred it's Winter Solstice for some of us.
