Thanks, Geoff. I rather suspected that it wouldn’t have been (close to) fortnightly!
bimonthly
Twice every month, or once every two months?
Geoff’s method is the same as mine, but expressed more formally.
Multiply each term by a well-known whole number suitable for the purpose, then one finds x.
I’m not sure what you mean by “a well-known whole number suitable for the purpose”, William. When I read that he was left with half of the amount that he started with, I was immediately prompted to think of the amount that he gave his brother (1/3 of the original sum) as being 2/3 of the half that he was left with. The amount that he spent on a present was the remaining 1/3 of the half (or 1/6 of the whole) and from there the calculation of the original sum is pretty straightforward.
Re ‘agor’, from Wiktionary:
Ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *n̥- (“negative”) + *ǵʰer- (“to enclose”).[1] Cognate with Cornish egeri, ygeri.
Re ‘cau’, also from Wiktionary:
From Middle Welsh keu, from Proto-Brythonic *kaw (whence Breton kev), from Proto-Celtic *kawyos, from Proto-Indo-European [Term?]. Cognate with Irish cuas, Latin cavus.
I have tried changing the font and size up and down but the cell size changed with it
You can change the row height independently of the font size, but I can’t help wondering whether you really need two separate tables for this. Couldn’t you simply use a thick cell border to separate the ‘Flower Name’ column from the others in a single table?
Welcome, Freddy!
What you’ve described seems to be a problem with Dolby Vision encoding. You might be able to fix it with a simple HSL adjustment.
I’d expect a message like that when there’s a redirect to a secure address for which there isn’t a valid SSL certificate. I’ve just tried your link in two different browsers, and both redirect from ‘http:’ to ‘https:’ without complaint.

I suppose that makes me a fun gal?
I’ve just stumbled upon this:
A Trip Down Memory Lane: Marlene Dietrich’s Lost Sister
From ‘Marlene Dietrich: Life and Legend’: Page 301
There is also this. Call this B.

There is a picture, but I don't know if it is actual or just an artist's impression.
It currently says “This live stream recording is not available.” I wouldn’t expect it to say that if the picture was just an artist’s impression.
When one compares that with the distance from England to the USA by ocean liner, or the distance from Chicago to Los Angeles by Route 66, hmm!
William
It might be more appropriate to compare the altitude of most orbiting satellites, which is apparently about ten times the closest distance that the asteroid will reach.
Happy Burns Night, everybody!

Revo Uninstaller is a popular alternative. It’s available in a free version and a ‘pro’ (paid for) version, and for each of those there’s a ‘portable’ version that will run from a USB stick.
You can download it from:
https://winaero.com/winaero-tweaker/#download
It will download as a zip file and it will run and install OK on my Windows11 OS.
John
As I indicated last night, John, I don’t think William can use it on his system.

It looks as though Winaero Tweaker isn’t available as an app from the Microsoft Store, in which case it won’t be possible to install it on Windows 10S.

Thanks, John. Very interesting. I don’t see simulated turning pages when viewing on my iPad, but that doesn’t dull the experience too much for me!
The best way is to go to the sub page from Publishing/My Books and then if you click on the front page you will go straight to the book itself.
The ‘Publishing/My Books’ link takes you to here.
Many hosting packages include a free SSL certificate nowadays, which is why this site has one! It’s quite likely that that’s what has happened to your hosting package, although it does seem a little odd that your web hosting provider didn’t make a point of informing you of their generosity.
I have attached the file in case you can offer a solution.
There is no file attached. Please edit your post, press the ‘Choose File’ button in the Attachments area, browse to the file and then press the ‘Add file’ button when you return to this forum page.
An interesting link about history.

William
For those wondering, it’s an episode from the US game show “I’ve Got a Secret” (1956).
Is there any man here who isn’t a fun guy?
