Hi
I did attach a video showing how it's done - quicker than trying to explain but I think it failed.
This is what I did:
Open your file.
Select the circle.
Top right menu select Line - it is set to wavy, change it to straight.
Select Colour, click on Line box, select colour.
Click on Fill box, select None.
It worked for me.

The text will be up against the border. Hover the cursor on the border, it'll turn into a double-headed arrow, and you can drag a margin to give some free space.
There's also "picture frames" under assets. I rarely use this, I really don't like the way it works, but that's me.

Hi Sandy
You can open the PDF through File - Open - and navigate to the PDF. If you can't see it, there's a box next to Filename and select "All PagePlus files"
Click Open to open the PDF in PagePlus. You will be given options about keeping the format tight, or choosing to make editing easier. It depends how strongly you want the format to look the same as the original.
Once open, you can select all by dragging the selection box around the whole page, and click Copy.
Open your PagePlus document, and click Paste.
Hope that helps
Kevin

Hi Alfred, I do not have any Affinity product. PagePlus, PhotoPlus and MoviePlus I use a fair bit. Drawplus a little, and Webplus not at all - I always seem to have trouble uploading. Wix is my go-to website editor.
I discovered Inkscape (freeware) has the function I need, and will output to svg. Svg to pdf online translation, and open pdf in PagePlus. Seems long winded but it does work well and it's only something I seldom need.

Hi
Once upon a time I spent a long time trying to learn how PagePlus handles ICC profiles, and ran quite a few tests. It was soul-destroying.
But feel free to test it yourself.
Under Colour Management you specify Primary colour mode, which is CMYK for printing.
Internal RGB profile, which is your PC default profile. My Dell is sRGB.
Internal CMYK profile - good luck if you can find out, but after testing I ended up with Agfa swop which gave the best match.
Current monitor profile... I chose Adobe RGB after umpteen tests.
Then there is a tick box for "Proof for target printer profile" where you'll enter your printer's ICC profile. In my case it was FOGRA39. Logic says to tick this box.
Now you think it all makes sense and you're ready to go. But, ticking this box does alter the colours significantly, and I found not ticking it gave better results!
Furthermore...
Printing to my domestic Canon printer, allowing PagePlus to perform the RGB to CMYK conversion, actually gave me the best results of all. Specifying to alter the colour model to CMYK seriously distorted the colours for the worse.
To confuse things further, I exported to PDF X1a, with ICC profile box ticked, and the colours were awful. A simple flat Acrobat 5 export with nothing clever done gave the best results.
So now I ignore ICC profiles. Straight default colour settings and let the printer do what it does and I get consistently good results.
To confuse things further still... viewing the exported pdf on Microsoft Edge gives different colours to those on Google Chrome. So all the effort I placed in designing the perfect colour in PagePlus, which remained so when viewing in Edge, was changed in Chrome.
I was designing a banner, chose the colour in PagePlus/Edge, but the colours on the printed banner, from a commercial printer, match the Chrome version. So disappointing.
Colour is a tricky tricky business!

Hi DEH
How frustrating your ISO cannot be read!
I have done a quick Google search, I am sure you've done the same, and found lots of hits but none useful except, possibly,
https://www.getintopcr.com/serif-pagepl … -download/
But haven't tried it, it might be a dead end.
I have some installation CDs, it is possible to make an ISO image of one of them? Happy to try.

... (100%, or minimum compression) is slightly lossy, so it’s a good idea not to go any lower unless you need to....

100% agree with this.

Hi, Printers recommend a resolution of 300 pixels per inch to retain the best image quality. Also remember to add bleed size to the image, usually 3mm beyond the print size, if you want your images to print to the very edge of the paper. If your images have multiple layers, with any transparency, then the safest option is to merge the layers to a flat image, else you can have problems. Printers also say to submit CMYK, but I have always stuck to RGB and let the printer do the conversion. I've found PP will distort the RGB to CMYK conversion colours. I always output to PDF, and the printer I use can handle any version of this.
You will generate some huge files, and I use WeTransfer to send to the printer if their standard upload won't support them.
Hope this helps.

That is exactly the thing! Looks easy and applies to all corners on one line. Thank you!

Hi, I am using PagePlusX9 to draw lines as I don't get on with DrawPlus. So imagine a line of straight segments that zigzag at different angles. At the corners I want them to curve, an arc of a perfect circle with a defined radius.
The node edit tools give me bezier curves into the straight segments too. I can add extra nodes each side of a corner and drag out the handles, but it's by eye and inaccurate.
The shape tool of a rectangle rounds off the corners perfectly, just what I want but the shape has only 90 degree corners.
How can I achieve what I want?
Is there a clever method of overlaying a circle on the corner and getting the line to follow it?
Thanks for any help and advice.
Kevin
