Thanks GB hiding masterpage in the layers tabs works great. Discovered also by Right clicking on the page number itself and choosing promote from master page brings you there quicker select the page number and delete .
Ive numbered my booklet pages via master pages and artictic text. I can`t for the life of me remember how to delete the numbering on the last few blank pages .
Oh i have just discovered that I CAN have the outline on a solid pattern by using the bricks and tiles swatch and choosing no pattern what a wonderful program this is .
I managed to do what you sugested Alfred . I lasooed all the shaped together went to the arrange tab , joined outlines, add and I have the shape I need . I cant put it on a solid pattern background and keep the outline but as my patterns are tranparent the lines show throught well enough to cut. Another learning curve. Thankyou all so much for your help .
Not sure how to do that Alfred ? how do you apply a "stroke" I do the outline in 2p black and I need to keep this for cutting out ( I`m superimposing a transparent pattern to the overall seed packet )
I have discovered another way . I accidently converted the combined images to a picture instead of curves and was able to remove the inside lines in the cutout studio after a few messy attempts.
Excellent ideas. Thankyou very much. I remember using some white boxes in the past. I`ll try the curves idea.
I`m making seed envelopes using several quick retangles to get the shape i want . I do intent to put some information and pics in there as well and want to keep just the outline of the boxesfor cutting out . is there a way to delete the lines on the inside ?
Just wondering , Is there a way to type roman numerals as a symbol like in Word ?
Ah yes thanks GB easily done just graft guide lines via grids and guides, not for printing. I`d forgotten how to do it. Interesting vidio Ali. Not ready for Affinity yet is it as easy and good as pagePlus ?
I need help again I made a few designs years ago using what looks like graft paper on the page to measure them. I can not for the life of me remember where to select these guides .

I have a A6 booklet finished and I make my covers seperately . I have numbered the rest of the booklet pages via master pages 1-45 but I now want page numbering to start on page 7 as my page 1 how do I change this ?
I`m just wondering if pagePlus makes an automatic creep allowance in booklets ? I`m only making thin ones at the minute so can`t really tell. I will be making some quite thick booklets soon so was just wondering about it as it would save me having to make a new template booklet.

Not sure if I asked this before but I have a copy of drawplus X8 but no disc drive now just the laptop . I did buy a disc drive but can`t find it atm. Is there anywhere I can down load it from ? Thanks

Im wondering if there is a way to make the return tab distance a little smaller ? I know shift and return makes it a little smaller but is there a way to set the distance myself even smaller
I`m not sure if this is helpful or nor but when i print from my printer the colours I see on screen and what is actually printed are never the same . I took snap shots of all the pallet colours in PagePlus X9 and printed them off as a reference.

Thanks tomH. I tried that but it still will only allow me to increase the size to what is there . I discovered that if I right click on the text > size text> enlarge text, it will increase it slightly but I have to repeat this over and over again to get from 72 to 100 . I thought there was a way I could just change the 72 number to 100 and it would automatically resize but don`t see a way to do that quickly
I`m wondering if it sis possible to select a different font size . I can select 72 which is too small and the next size is 120 which is too large. is there a way to choose 90, or 100 ?
Solved. I hadnt saved the PDF properly so had just sent the copied PagePlus document again. Thanks for all your help I`ve sent the PDF, it has a lot of images so we`ll see what happens as I havnt had a reply from the recipient yet. I`ve learnt a lot, thanks to every one. I think I`ll simply buy my friend a copy of PagePlus if he wants more of my publications.
Ok, Ive made the PDF and it opens in my PDF reader. How do I save this to my documents as a PDF ( the one I tried to save only opens in my PagePlus and not in a PDF reader ) and how do I sent this PDF to someone in an email . Sorry for my persistance and thanks for your help again.
Hi GB thanks for that. I`m afraid I do need spoon fed for some things . I did as you said and saved it in my documents and will try and sent to the recipient.
